Bharat AC-001 was specified around 2017 as a low-cost public AC charger for India's first wave of electric vehicles. It provides three independent single-phase outputs of about 3.3 kW (15 A at 230 V), roughly 10 kW in total, using industrial-style IEC 60309 sockets.
It remains useful for some two-wheelers, three-wheelers and older vehicles, but modern electric cars typically use Type 2 AC chargers instead.
