Assessment first
Every installation begins with a technical assessment and, where required, a site inspection of the electrical connection, sanctioned load, earthing, distribution board, cable route and parking location. We do not install where the site cannot be made safe.
What a standard installation includes
- Mounting the charger (wall or pedestal, as quoted).
- A dedicated circuit with protection devices as specified by the charger manufacturer.
- Cabling up to the length stated in your quotation.
- Applicable safety checks, testing and commissioning.
- Handover with usage guidance.
Customer responsibilities
- Providing access to the site and the electrical distribution board.
- Obtaining permission from landlords, associations or societies where applicable.
- Applying for any load enhancement or separate connection required by your electricity distribution company (we can guide you).
- Ensuring the vehicle and charger details provided are accurate.
Not included unless quoted
- Distribution company fees, load enhancement or new connection charges.
- Civil work, trenching, new earth pits or cable beyond the quoted length.
- Charger supply, if you are providing your own charger.
Compatibility
We confirm charger and vehicle compatibility for your specific case during the assessment. We do not guarantee universal compatibility between all chargers and vehicles.
Safety and compliance
Installations are carried out in line with the charger manufacturer’s instructions and applicable electrical safety regulations, including the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023. [Add licensing and insurance details once confirmed.]
Workmanship warranty
[Workmanship warranty terms to be confirmed by Amphive.] Chargers are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty.
