CHAdeMO is a DC fast-charging protocol developed in Japan and used historically by vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf. It uses a separate DC inlet rather than combining with an AC inlet like CCS2.
Some of India's early public fast chargers included a CHAdeMO gun, but very few cars sold in India use it, and newer chargers increasingly offer CCS2 only.
